Hoppenstedt360 Germany Index in October: Insolvency rate stays stable, despite expected economic downturn
Business plans for 2012 are currently being influenced by uncertainties of the economic development of Germany. Despite this, german business information provider Hoppenstedt360 is not registering an increase in insolvencies.
The Hoppenstedt360 Germany index was at 93.5 percent in October and showed no change compared to the previous month. Compared to the beginning of 2011, it has even decreased, which means that the rate of insolvencies also has decreased. At the end of October, Hoppenstedt360 expected that within the next 12 months 6.5 percent less companies will become bankrupt than initially prognosed at the beginning of 2011.
