Superoffice appoints PAR to manage Data Quality
SuperOffice AS, owner of the leading European CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, has made a major investment in data quality with the appointment of Swedish data giant, PAR.
Under the agreement, SuperOffice will use PAR’s sophisticated Data Quality Assurance tools to control and structure its existing business information, develop a mechanism for maintaining long-term quality, and enhance new basic information as it is added to the company’s database.
The decision follows the development by PAR of the highly-successful plug-in PAR Manager for SuperOffice CRM, enabling SuperOffice users to access the EuroContactPool database which contains 22 million European business records. The plug-in PAR Manager adds options to the existing SuperOffice interface, creating a seamless link between the two.
PAR Manager has proved so successful in terms of functionality and usability that SuperOffice has decided to use it to boost its own data quality. This latest move further enhances the collaboration between SuperOffice and PAR.
Per Löfgren, International Product Director at PAR, says: “Customer and prospect databases often have very low level of accuracy because data inputting is so often left to sales people who are busy and have other priorities. As a result, company databases can become unusable either as a method for managing customers or marketing the company’s business”.
Gisle Jentoft, CEO of SuperOffice AS, explains, “We were impressed with the tight integration between PAR and SuperOffice CRM. The capabilities it offers make our solution even more user-friendly and efficient when it comes to creating and updating contact information. We are interested in solutions to help our sales and marketing team improve data quality with the least amount of effort, and are happy to have found this with PAR.”
