D&B Switzerland: 2009 was a record year for bankruptcies - 5105 companies became insolvent
Dun & Bradstreet Switzerland has published a detailed report on bankruptcies in Switzerland in 2009. December 2009 showed the highest number of insolvencies in one month for the last decade with 558 companies. In the whole year 2009, as predicted by D&B, for the first time more than 5,000 companies went bankrupt. The total number of 5105 represents an increase of 26.7% compared to 2008.
