Change of management in Pointer
Åsa Landén Ericsson has been recruited as new Managing Director of Pointer, a Swedish business intelligence company in the Bisnode group. Åsa has a background in telecommunications and IT and comes recently from the assignment as Acting President and CEO of the listed software and IT consulting company ENEA.
Åsa Landén Ericsson will take over as Managing Director after Hellen Wohlin Lidgard, Managing Director and one of the founders of Pointer, who has decided to resign after 10 years in the company to work full time with board assignments and investments.
Åsa has a broad management background with long experience from consultancy companies. She started her career at McKinsey & Co and has served on the boards of Rejlerkoncernen, a technical consultancy, and ENEA since 2003. She has also until recently served on the board of the IT consulting company Acando. Åsa has held management positions at AT&T, Allgon and Scanpix and has worked as director of IT and telecom investments at Catella. She holds a M.Sc. Eng degree from Chalmers and a MBA from INSEAD, France.
”The founders Hellen Wohlin Lidgard and Anna Strid Arvidsson have built Pointer to become one of Sweden’s most fast growing and profitable business intelligence companies. I am glad to announce that Åsa Landén Ericsson now will take over as Managing Director and together with Anna and the rest of the team continue developing the company and make it even more successful. I am confident that she is the right person to continue growing the business”, says Fredrik Åkerman, Business Area Director of Software and Applications in Bisnode.
Åsa will start as new Managing Director on April 1, 2010.
