Payment behaviour of German companies shows slight improvement in fourth quarter
Supplier credits become more popular; pharmaceutics industry with best payment behaviour
The payment behaviour of German companies has improved a little bit at the end of 2008. Despite the financial crisis and an impending economic downturn, 80 percent of all German companies paid their bills within the payment due dates. D&B monitors this behaviour via its Dun Trade program that tracks 540 million payments each year.
