German payment behaviour improves in June for the first time

The German payment behaviour has improved in Germany for the first time this year, according to a study of D&B Germany. "It is still to early to see this as a turnaround, though," says Thomas Dold, Managing Director of D&B Germany. "The slight increase is more like a intermediate recovery after the hefty decreases of the last months." In June the index rose to 78.3% after 78.19% in May. For the last five months it had been decreasing.
