Organisation
The organisation is strongly decentralised and built on the conviction that the best business decisions are made by individuals who understand their respective markets and work closely with customers.
Bisnode has a new organisational structure since January 1, 2009 that improves momentum in sales, business development and synergies.
The European market is divided in six different regions with similar market conditions, business opportunities and local synergies:
• Denmark, Estonia, Finland and Sweden
• Norway
• Ireland and United Kingdom
• Belgium, France and Netherlands
• Austria, Germany and Switzerland
• Czech, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia
In addition there are two separate business areas :
• Product Information, containing Bisnode’s operations within Product Databases and Trade Press combined with newly acquired Wer Liefert Was (WLW)
• Software and Applications, containing Bisnode’s operations with different business models offering software and applications based on business information
The new organisation improves Bisnode's business potential and optimise synergies. Local, strong market positions are key drivers. Economies of scale and synergies can be attained if more services are based on the same information. Bisnode’s core business will remain and is to help customers improve their business decisions.
